Thirteen years ago, Garry decided to move one of his aircraft hangars to Hilltop, which is the smallholding on which Yellow Wood Cottage is built on.

Hilltop is an elevated piece of land that overlooks the village of Haenertsburg and surrounding areas.

He then decided to build our home into this aircraft hangar, resulting in interesting spaces and levels, big windows and spectacular views....and pub.

Two of the bedrooms at the main house have been converted to B&B rooms en-suite. These rooms have their own private entrance and patios.

With so much space, we have an 'almost' walk-in fireplace. Where most people have a weathervane, we have a 'pterodactyl'...(said tongue in cheek) We live here with our five dogs of which two are proper Jack Russels, two are Jack Russel combo's and one boerboel.

Yellow Wood Cottage as well as the B&B accommodation is situated on 8Ha of land allowing long walks, interesting bird action, peace and quiet.
